Greetings & welcome to Anjali’s Blog,
The purpose of this blog is to share varied aspects of my passions, interests, experiments, successes, and yes – even failures. I invite you to join me in this pursuit.
Since taking up knitting at the age of 8 years I have pursued countless artistic endeavors including sewing, embroidery, cross stitch, candle making, jewelry making, home décor/faux finishing, gardening, and most recently paper-crafting. I am a perennial crafter, hobbyist, and now business owner of a company called Anjali Creations, LLC. This company is dedicated to creating custom designed Memory Albums (elegant scrapbooks) to capture the important moments in one’s life and transform them into enduring memories. It is a way to archive photos and memorabilia to enjoy now as well as pass on to future generations.
In addition to making Custom Memory Albums I also have an online shop on ETSY called anjalicreations were I offer handmade artwork such as greeting cards, jewelry, gifts, judaica, and home décor.
Anjali is a Sanskrit word that means gift or offering. I chose this name because my artwork gives me the opportunity to interpret my perception of the world and channel it into a tangible gift to others. I am inspired by the artistic styles that originate from South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. I look forward to exploring the creative possibilities these regions & cultures have to offer.
